Every detail counts on your big day and table décor is no exception to this rule, if anything it is one of the most integral parts in creating the right atmosphere. Summer weddings have arguably the most choice when it comes to wedding décor; the multitude of colours and floral arrangements available, often the problem becomes what to pick.
It’s often the small details that people remember the most which means you don’t always have to go above and beyond creating large elaborate décor. Simple effects such as personalised table favours or table runners with the happy couple’s initials printed or embroidered on them. This will create a simplistic but elegant feel without having to do too much.
Weddings have traditionally always been white but often it can be difficult to ensure everything is matching; one off white colour against a pure white can look dirty and ruin your entire aesthetic. Instead, why not try a non-white tablecloth such as a deep purple or blue and match some metallic silvers with it. Not only will this give your table décor a modern twist, it also means that any marks or imperfections won’t be seen as easily as on a white cloth.
If however you are a lover of the classic white wedding, why not couple all white table décor with colourful centrepieces in your chosen accent colour. Not only will they catch everyone’s eye but they will accentuate how beautiful and pristine the rest of your white décor is.
When on a budget finding the right flowers can be difficult but one of the perks of having a summer wedding is that so many beautiful flowers are in season which means they aren’t as expensive. If however your budget still can’t stretch to accommodate all the flowers you want, you might want to ask your florist about more natural wild growing summer flowers. These types of flowers can be found anywhere and when properly arranged can give your wedding a more urban and almost fairy-tale like feel.
If you have opted in for an outdoor wedding, why not capitalise of the beautifully natural surroundings and make that your décor. This means your tables only need small centrepieces to draw more attention to the beautiful outdoor scenery. A number of simple and elegant chiavari chairs can really set the scene. As an example you could also use the natural growing flowers found in your outdoor venue to create small floral arrangements.

Here at Creative the team have been working with our latest frenzy, Tartan. We have worked with Tartan before using it within corporate events and parties however it seems to be making an appearance on the wedding scene.
With Tartan’s ranging through colour and style here at Creative we have to specific Tartans that we work with.
We are working tirelessly to come up with new ideas and textures for our wedding collection and already the Tartan has been very popular. Tartan is usually used to represent heritage and culture however more and more it is apparent that people are choosing the fabric through choice with no family history within the tartan.
Using double Tartan sashes here we have created a hood with pear cluster detailing.
Here we have used Tartan within the chair sashes but also with table runners to add a little more colour. It highlights the center piece and again just adds a touch more of the tartan so it doesn’t get lost within the room.
Team Creative are ready and waiting to transform your wedding and ensure your venue looks as stunning as possible!!
Team Creative were honoured to be the recommended venue dressing company for the wedding of Anna Salmon, the daughter of Kevin Salmon co-owner of Rivington Barn.
The stunning venue has been owned by the Salmon family since 1953 and is a grade 11 listed 12 century building. It still retains beautiful orginal features, such as it’s large saxon beams.
Anna choose to have our classy Nude Sateen Hoods, which looked stunning, especially with the beautiful centrepieces!
Here’s a before and after photo:-
Rivington Barn looked amazing!
Congratulations Anna, from us all at Creative Cover Hire!
Congratulations to the newlyweds Christine & James Fairhead who had a beautiful wedding at Rudding Park on Saturday.
Our Cappuccino Sateen Hooded Bow with Lace Sash complimented the room perfectly.
The staircase drape was perfect for photographs and made the couple’s theme run throughout the hotel! Also enhancing the already stunning Rudding Park Hotel entrance.
Team Creative loved the centre pieces by ‘Flowers by Colette’, Rudding Park’s recommended florist.
Shireburn Arms hosted this beautiful neutral wedding.
Starting with the civil ceremony, we created this soft peaceful feel using our Cappuccino sashes on Shireburn Arms own chairs. We tied the pew ends to the side to create an aisle feel and finished with our Ivory Aisle carpet and co-ordinating petals.
This scheme really complimented the already beautiful venue and really did create a lovely atmosphere for civil ceremony.
Team Creative welcome any additional items such as personal touches. Here we have attached a Mr & Mrs sign to the top table draping to add some personalisation for the couple, almost like a home touch.
And then, in the suite of the wedding breakfast we continued the soft neutral scheme with our cappuccino top table drape and matching sashes to Shireburn Arms own wicker chairs for the top table. A lovely touch.
We have also touched up the curtains behind the top table adding swaging across the top to add more texture and co ordination and also bows around the middle to finish off.
Our team work endlessly to make sure every wedding we deliver looks amazing, we treat every wedding as if it is our own and make sure all final touches are perfect ready for your entrance.
At Mitton Hall recently our team set about delivering this beautiful soft fairy lit wedding wonderland.
We have used our beautiful white fairy lit backdrop to enhance the center of the room and of course, the top table seating the bride and groom.
We have also used fairy lights within the top table draping to add to the fairy lit touches.
Combine this with our hot pink and white organza rosettes and well, the outcome is simply beautiful.
The image above shows how our bespoke ceiling drapes in white voile add to the textural surroundings and finish off the sophisticated style of the wedding.
We were given a direction that the bride and groom wanted their venue to look like and this is how we deliver.
Here at Creative we look forward to every idea that comes our way, so give us a task and our ‘creators’ will work their magic.

In Early August Team Creative set their minds to this creating this beautiful wedding dressing at the Devere Heron’s Reach.
Using the Inspiration Suite 4, Creative delivered these beautiful bespoke ceiling drapes using white voile, lights and touches of dusky pink. The colour scheme continued into the curtain covering where we used our own custom made curtains to cover the existing ones and then again adding a hint of dusky pink to complete the look.
Positioned down one solid wall we placed our fairy lit backdrops to hide the room division and create a beautiful back wall for the civil ceremony giving the room direction and a focus point.
It was not just inside the room where creative’s dressing stopped; using an arch way we created again a fairy lit entrance drape to set the scene before guests had even entered the room.
Using our bright white Lycra chair covers we enhanced the overall dressing by adding dusky pink organza sashes to each chair and creating pew ends for the centre of the aisle.
